Wall of Wind is a versatile and powerful evocation spell, capable of creating a swirling barrier of wind that can protect a target creature or area from projectiles and impede physical entry. The wall can be shaped at will, taking on any form the caster desires, including a sphere, with a minimum height and width of 5 feet.
Barrier Effect:
The Wall of Wind is difficult to penetrate. Creatures and objects attempting to pass through the wall must either power through with sheer strength or rely on their body mass:
Strength Check: A creature attempting to force its way through the wall must succeed on a Strength check opposed by the spell's DC + 10.
Body Mass: Alternatively, a creature or object may use its size to overcome the wall. Compare the creature's or object's size to the size category of the wall. If the creature/object is of a larger size category than the wall, it can penetrate the barrier. For example, a medium-sized Wall of Wind provides full protection against arrows fired from a medium-sized bow but does not protect against projectiles from larger sources.
Wall of Wind also inflicts physical damage upon attempting to break through it. Creatures or objects will take 1d10 damage per CL per tick spent inside Wind Wall.
Acoustic Disruption:
The Wall of Wind emits a considerable amount of noise, making it difficult for sounds to pass through. Any sound originating from behind the wall is likely to be muffled or rendered unintelligible.
Size of the Wall:
The area covered by the Wall of Wind increases with the caster's level:
