Travail sous l’influence is a spell invented by the wizard Thomas Grillot. The official story surrounding this spell is that the genius wizard Thomas Grillot invented this spell to allow himself to work and research magic at least twice as fast — while still maintaining his daily dose of extracurricular activities — activities which won’t be mentioned here.
With this spell, the wizard uses magic to auto-influence himself and allows himself to concentrate without being interrupted by other thoughts or envies. The magic dictates and interrupts what the brain wants to do. The benefit of using this spell is that the spellcaster gains an unknown amount of intelligence, thanks to the amazing concentration that the spell provides. However, the drawback of this spell is that the spellcaster is put into a state where new decision making is impossible because many areas of the brain are shut down. The spell removes the ability to participate in meaningful discussions, travel and combat. Therefore, this spell should be dispelled at once before horrific consequences happen.
The spell, as written, has a long casting time and requires a specific environment to be available.
