A magician wielding this powerful spell can imprison a creature of any size within an object of their choosing, if the creature fails the Will Save. The spell creates a comfortable pocket dimension within the object, providing all necessities to keep the captive nourished and healthy. Upon imprisonment, the spell also siphons one of the creature's powers, as selected by the caster. For instance, if a Troll is imprisoned, its regenerative abilities might be stolen. Should a White Dragon fall victim to this spell, its affinity for cold could be extracted, rendering the magician immune to frost-based attacks and enhancing the potency of their ice spells. Casting this spell demands an enormous quantity of gold to stabilize the vast amount of mana required for its prolonged duration. The receptacle used to capture the creature becomes imbued with magical properties closely resembling those of its prisoner. For example, if the receptacle contains a Troll, the bearer might be granted enhanced strength or regenerative capabilities. The imprisoned creature is not without recourse. If capable, it may attempt to dispel the enchantment using an abjuration spell at any time. Failing that, the creature is granted a monthly opportunity to break free by succeeding on a Will Save. The spell also establishes a communication link between the magician and their captive, often utilized for negotiations or interrogations.
