Magic Missile conjures glowing darts of force that unerringly strike their targets. Each missile both deals damage and pushes the creature it hits. The caster fires a number of missiles equal to their level, and each missile’s damage scales with that level.

The push effect is always 5 feet for the largest creature size the spell can affect at a given level. Smaller creatures are pushed farther: for every size category smaller than the maximum affected, the distance increases by 5 feet. Thus, at 10th level the spell can move a Colossal+ creature 5 feet per missile, but would move a Medium creature 30 feet.

Magic Missile also affects incorporeal creatures.
