Ice Arrow is an extremely powerful spell from the Morin family. It
has a long casting time but enormous damage and utility. The spellcaster
first creates the ice arrow, then launches it at an enemy. When the ice
arrow explodes, it deals an enormous amount of damage and creates a cold
zone. Ground becomes icy and slippery, requiring a Reflex Save to walk
on it.
The Cold effect lasts for one turn, and diminishes both speed and
reflexes. To save against the cold effect, the affected creatures can
roll a Fortitude Save against Ice Arrow, knowing that the spell benefits
from a DC bonus. The spellcaster can launch one ice arrow per caster
level.
