Arcane Body is a classic transmutation spell that temporarily enhances a creature's physical abilities. When this spell is cast, it significantly increases the target's Strength (STR) or Dexterity (DEX). Initially, the spell only affects one attribute, such as STR. However, as the spell level increases, it becomes more powerful and affects more than one attribute.

The spell can be cast for either a short or long duration, which affects the bonuses provided. In short duration mode (the spell always lasts rounds/level), the bonus of the spell is doubled, offering a powerful but brief boost. In long duration mode, the bonuses are not as big but last longer, making this mode ideal for surprise encounters. The effects of this spell do not stack on one attribute. In short duration mode, the spell has a minimum duration of six rounds.

This spell can be cast on either the caster or an ally. Two instances of Arcane Body cannot be active at the same time.
